Duties and responsibilities
1. Accurate reporting of customer financials on a weekly and monthly basis.
2. Monthly/weekly invoicing on a timely basis, ensuring any queries are dealt with promptly.
3. Compiling weekly and monthly journals, ensuring accuracy and required detail present.
4. Show full understanding of double entry accounting.
5. Show awareness of relevant Finance policies and ensure they are being followed.
6. Ability to challenge relevant Managers/teams on accuracy and timeliness of information.
7. Regular review of reporting mechanisms used within Finance and provide suggestions/improvements to FM.
8. Show full knowledge and understanding of GL coding and reporting requirements.
9. Ability to manage workload in order to support other team members as and when required.
10. Willingness to learn and support different areas of the Finance team as and when required.
11. Be able to call out relevant and value add information for weekly reporting.
12. Contribute to continuous improvement projects within Finance.
13. Take a proactive and problem-solving approach, ensuring relevant information is provided to Finance and Operations teams.
14. Show detailed understanding of Cost drivers.
15. Support FM with any additional customer requirements.
16. Provide detailed information on all balance sheet entries, ensuring accuracy and ongoing management of accruals and prepayments.
17. Support FM with forecasting and Budgets both internal and external.
18. Provide in depth analysis and insight.
19. Keen collaborator and team player who can also work independently.
