Join Our Team
We're looking for a passionate Welding Trainer to deliver engaging, hands-on and theory-based training. Your role will involve not only teaching technical welding skills but also embedding essential employability, health and safety, and professional behaviours. You'll support adult learners through flexible, roll-on, roll-off programmes, helping them build skills and confidence to succeed in employment.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Welding Trainer, you will:

* Plan and deliver skills-based training aligned with standards set by external, industry-led, and awarding bodies.
* Train, assess, and support learners on competence-based programmes, helping them develop practical skills and achieve learning objectives.
* Assist learners in creating and progressing through individual learning plans, ensuring alignment with externally set standards.
* Maintain a safe learning environment, taking appropriate precautions to ensure student safety within the classroom and College premises.
* Manage and maintain learning resources and equipment, reporting any faults or repair needs to relevant staff.
* Support student application and enrolment processes, working collaboratively with teaching and administrative teams.
* Provide guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey.

We Are Seeking Candidates Who

* Possess current and relevant experience in the Welding industry.
* Hold excellent technical Welding skills.
* Have strong communication skills across diverse audiences.
* Hold a Level 3 or higher industrial qualification in Welding.
* Achieved GCSE Grade 4or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
* Are committed to completing mandatory training related to the role.

Desirable Qualifications And Experience

* Teaching and/or assessing experience.
* CCNSG qualification desirable
* Assessor and Verifier Awards
* Teaching or Training Qualification
