Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Chef Manager at Noble House, Worcester. The role is based at Noble House, 1 Oakview Way, Worcester, WR2 5FH. Salary: £13.46 per hour. Hours: 37.5 per week. Requisition: 226022.

Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen as well as managing a Chef and a team of catering General Assistants
* Designing, planning, and preparing a varied set of menus that cater for individual needs, including special diets and customer preferences
* Managing stock and wastage levels, maintaining professional standards while operating within commercial requirements and budget
* Managing the Food Safety Management System and ensuring the team understands and implements it
* Overseeing all documentation, including auditing, HACCP, Health & Safety
Skills and experience
* Proven experience as a Chef, Catering Manager or Head Cook in a similar environment
* Knowledge of menu planning and costing
* A catering qualification such as City and Guilds 706 1/2 (or equivalent) is desirable
* Experience carrying out risk assessments and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to a high standard
* Experience supervising and developing staff
* Previous staff management experience and leading teams in a busy kitchen
* Friendly and approachable with good interaction with customers, visitors and colleagues
