Position Summary
The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic family liaison officer to support pupils learning at St Meriadoc CE Infant and St Meriadoc CE Junior Academy.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils learning at St Meriadoc CE Infant and St Meriadoc CE Junior Academy.
* Work with children and young people, including supporting those who may be vulnerable or display challenging behaviours.
* Lead or contribute to meetings with external agencies and have previously worked within a school environment, supervising or supporting staff or groups of pupils.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, particularly those who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant area, or can demonstrate significant experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of SEND, behaviour management and trauma‑informed practice, including knowledge of the PACE approach.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Patient, resilient and approachable, with a genuine passion for supporting children and families.
