Staffordshire County Council is looking for part‑time School Crossing Patrol volunteers to assist school children and pedestrians during term time.
Responsibilities
The duties are term time only, so are ideal for those who prefer to work during school holidays. You will receive full training, a uniform and pay throughout the year. You will also attend a health assessment conducted by the Occupational Health Department. Each duty lasts 30 minutes to one hour. School Crossing Patrols operate twice daily during term‑time, typically between 7:30am and 9:00am and between 2:30pm and 4:00pm; individual crossing times may vary.
