JDR Recruitment are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our clients team based in Cardiff and surrounding areas including Newport and Bridgend.
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 Lorry to carry out collections and deliveries, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and providing an excellent service on site. You will possibly need to attend a driving assessment before assignment which can be arranged asap. This is client dependent.
Your key responsibilities will be:-
Driving and operating a HGV Class 1 Lorry in line with safety standards Carrying out site collections and deliveries Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
About you:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (held for a min 6 months to 2 years dependent on contract) HGV Class 1 Driving experience and the ability to successfully pass a driving assessment if required by contract Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card Strong focus on safety and customer service
