What you will be doing
Lead Multi-Skilled Assembly Engineer role overview for a permanent position with Thrive Trowbridge client near Chippenham.
* Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality
* Leading the coordination of jobs and process improvements
* Assembly and integration of complex systems including hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components
* Working from detailed engineering drawings, wiring schedules, schematics, hydraulic circuit diagrams and work instructions
* Installation of hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, actuators and fittings
* Electrical wiring, cable routing, termination and test of control panels and sensors
* Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessary
What you will need to succeed
* Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential
* Extensive hydraulics and diagnostic experience (large part of the role)
* Electrical ability including 12/24v
* A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead
* Ability to read and reverse engineer production plans
* Attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality standards
* Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals
* BTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
