We're looking for a Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Transportation Team based in Birmingham.

Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (07:00 to 15:30)
Salary:
£27,976 to £28,500 depending on qualifications and experience + overtime +call out +standby

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll contribute to essential environmental maintenance while working outdoors in a supportive team atmosphere. What will you be responsible for? As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll be working within the TML team, supporting them in maintaining environmental standards across the Network. Your day to day will include:
Carrying out seasonal work including tree planting in winter and targeted weed spraying in summer
Engaging professionally with members of the public when needed
Following safety protocols and completing required documentation
Assisting with risk assessments and responding to emergency works when required
Contributing to an inclusive workplace that values wellbeing and diversity
