ABOUT THE ROLE
My client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team. This role involves overseeing the financial aspects of electrical contracts, preparing detailed cost reports, and collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects across Essex and London.
As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
• Financially managing Electrical contracts
• Managing and preparing monthly cost report
• Analyse of budgets and estimating changes where necessary
• Carrying out valuations and submitting applications to the client
• Producing Monthly Valuations for current Projects.
• Preparation of Variation Quotations for Projects.
• Preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost Reports
• Attending Client and Site meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Electrical Quantity Surveying
2. ONC, HNC, BSc, or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying
3. Strong working knowledge of Commercial Office Fit-outs, Infrastructure, and refurbishment projects
4. Proficiency in financial management, budget analysis, and cost estimation
5. Ability to prepare monthly valuations and variation quotations.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to attend client and site meetings.
7. Willingness to travel between Essex and London locations as required.
