Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Prestwick area.
Shift Pattern:
Early: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am 11am
Back: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 11am - 4pmHourly Rate: Up to £24p/hour (including shift allowance)
OT: Weekdays and Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x
Daily Duties -
Operate manual and CNC milling machines to the required standard adhering to engineering drawings and specifications
Use inspection equipment to ensure all sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes are accurate
Ensure processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures and correctly booking on/off jobs
Keep machine and work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment returned after useCandidates Requirements -
Time-served or relevant engineering qualification
Previous turning or milling experience within a machine shop
