or a proven team leader seeking a rewarding, purpose-driven environment.The OpportunityAs the Team Leader, you'll combine your technical expertise with day-to-day coordination and support. You will lead by example as the workshop's lead installer, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency across both workshop and mobile operations.This is a varied, meaningful role where your work directly contributes to improving people's lives.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Workshop Management Lead, mentor and motivate a small team of workshop and mobile installation engineers Plan and allocate daily workloads to maintain an efficient and well-structured workflow Ensure the workshop is consistently safe, compliant, tidy and professionally presented Support the Service Manager with operational planning and continuous improvement initiativesTechnical Installation Carry out the installation of a wide range of vehicle adaptations for drivers and passengers Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to engineers on complex or challenging jobs Maintain AIC's high-quality standards and ensure all installations meet industry best practiceQuality, Safety & Compliance Perform routine quality checks on completed work Ensure all team members follow safe working practices and health & safety regulations Oversee workshop tools, equipment and calibration requirementsStock & Resource Management Monitor stock levels and oversee ordering of parts and consumables Maintain stock accuracy and ensure prompt reporting of shortages or issuesSkills & Experience We're looking for; Previous experience in vehicle adaptations, automotive engineering, mobility solutions or a related field Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and basic vehicle electrics Background in the automotive sector with a high standard of workmanship Leadership experience is an advantage, but skilled installers ready to progress are equally encouraged Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively Strong communicator with a supportive, collaborative leadership style High attention to detail and commitment to qualityPersonal Attributes Hands-on, proactive and customer-focused A positive role model with a can-do attitude Professional, reliable and calm under pressure Self-motivated with pride in your work and your team's performanceQualifications & Requirements Full UK driving licence (essential) Automotive or mechanical qualifications (desirable) Training in vehicle electrics or related disciplines is an advantageJoin a forward-thinking organisation committed to quality, safety and enhancing independence!
