Building on our recognition of 2024 Insurance Award's Commercial Lines Insurer of the Year, we're looking for an experienced Business Manager for this brand-new role.
As Business Manager, you'll support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and their leadership team achieve their business objectives. You're used to working with a wide variety of stakeholders – from front line operations team to senior leaders. You're focus will be giving executive level advice and driving interdepartmental collaboration.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:
1. Ensure the COO leadership team are setup for success to achieve objectives & key results (OKRs).
2. Work together effectively, through regular interactions and strategic working sessions.
3. Confidently challenge and motivate COO leadership team, hold them accountable to deadlines and ensuring progress is made on agreed OKRs.
4. Be a conduit to connect other AXA Commercial teams with the COO leadership teams, ensuring operational issues are resolved in a timely way.
5. Make sure COO leadership team are fully prepared for key strategic meetings, discussions and presentations.
6. Drive and take ownership of departmental engagement communications.
7. Own and drive ad-hoc strategic projects, delivering immediate business value.
