We’re hiring for a Transport Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing business based in Glossop.

* Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (early finish Fridays)

What will you be doing as a Transport Planner?
* Handling daily goods dispatch and completing documentation
* Managing export shipping (delivery notes, invoices & dangerous goods notes)
* Organising shipments and liaising with forwarders and customers
* Planning transport routes and trailer usage efficiently
* Assisting the shop floor with bookings and deliveries
* Monitoring fuel use, shipment schedules & pre-paid accounts
* Coordinating contract hauliers and providing cover for management when needed
* Processing purchase orders and managing internal delivery requirements
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a similar logistics or planning role
* Strong IT and administration skills
* Background in a manufacturing or fast-paced supply chain environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
