Job Description
· Assist the Event Manager in coordinating all activities of the conventions, including planning, organizing and controlling of events to meet contractual obligations and quality customer service standards.
· Coordinate and supervise the activities of the team, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute the assigned events.
· Provide information and guidance for the clients in order to obtain accurate specifications for the events.
· Manage all operations in the Conventions to ensure excellent customer services and to provide outstanding technical expertise.
· Motivate and develop staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
· Maintain accurate and complete files, records and other documents relating to assigned responsibilities.
· Assist the Event Manager in conducting pre-planning meetings to develop timeline, product lists, attendee lists, theme and all logistical needs.
· Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with service contractors and other suppliers of event services.
Qualifications
Relevant degree or diploma.
