Required for September 2025 At St Luke’s we are looking to appoint a Behaviour and Relationship Mentor who will support children who require support to help them to regulate throughout the school day. Experience of working within a special school is not essential, but an understanding and experience of helping children to regulate and experience of developing and supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and how this applies to children with additional needs is beneficial. At St Luke’s we believe that a Trauma Informed Approach is the best approach to support children, knowledge and understanding of how to support children following a Trauma Informed Approach is essential. Part of this role will also include working with families, to provide appropriate support to the whole caregiver system. St. Luke’s Primary School is a special school that caters for 191 pupils aged 2 to 11 years with moderate to severe learning difficulties, many of whom have additional needs.
