We are looking for a experienced Site Technician to join our Southern Site Technician team. This role will be covering the Southwest of London, Surrey and Hampshire. The successful applicant should reside in the geographical patch or within an hour of it.
Working closely with the regional sales team, this role will oversee site installation monitoring, across all Bauder systems, to uphold the highest standard of workmanship, throughout the denoted region. The role will ensure the Company’s liability to guarantee is not compromised whilst upholding the Company’s reputation of service, trust and quality. The Site Technician will be instrumental in building and fostering relationships within the approved contractor network within the region, delivering hands‑on training for Approved Contractor Operatives.The role will maximise co‑operation between the businesses and capitalise on future opportunities.
Responsibilities/duties
* Responsibility for carrying out site inspections for multiple projects within the designated region.
* Train Approved Contractor Operatives, ensuring the content of the training and quality of delivery are to the highest possible standard.
* Complete detailed inspection reports following site visits within the designated region.
* Act as intermediary, to assist the team and the contractor with issues to site.
* Project tracking and time planning to maximise efficiency.
* Communicate with relevant parties to ensure complex and/or high value projects within the designated region are managed appropriately.
* Communicate regularly with sales personnel and internal departments to ensure issues concerning sites, contractors etc. are shared and dealt with effectively and efficiently.
Key experience, knowledge and skills
* In depth knowledge and practical hands on experience in the installation of a variety of flat roofing systems; specifically, Bitumen and Single Ply.
* A good understanding of construction, from both a technical and commercial aspect.
* Experienced in the delivery of Training (advantageous).
* Formal Training qualification (advantageous).
* Health and Safety awareness (CSCS Card preferred).
* Professional, friendly and resourceful approach with outgoing personality and strength of character.
* Sound organisational and administrative abilities.
* Initiative led, driven and motivated.
* Computer literacy to an intermediate Microsoft level of competency.
* Sound communication skills, both written and verbal mediums.
