A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join a values driven organisation with a real purpose based in the Lancashire area. My client are looking for a passionate individual to work as part of their supportive team. Working across the full employee lifecycle, you'll provide trusted, professional HR advice while helping to shape an inclusive, engaging and high-performing workplace culture. This is a varied and rewarding generalist HR role where no two days are the same - from supporting managers with complex people matters to developing initiatives that improve colleague wellbeing and engagement. What You'll Be Doing: Providing expert HR advice and guidance across policies, procedures and employment law Supporting managers with performance management, absence management (including long-term sickness), disciplinary processes and grievances Leading and supporting investigations with professionalism Supporting recruitment activity and volunteer onboarding processes Managing HR administration including contracts, letters, onboarding and offboarding documentation Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements Preparing HR reports and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Supporting Learning & Development initiatives, including administration of the online learning platform and coaching managers where appropriate Contributing to key People initiatives including colleague engagement surveys, wellbeing programmes, diversity, equity and inclusion workstreams The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working at a similar level, will be confident and have the ability to make effective decisions, be well organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Being a real people person is also key to the success of this role as you'll need to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders from day one. My client are open to looking at candidates on either a full time or reduced hours basis; location wise a significant amount of the work will be done remotely but you will need to travel to sites around the Lancashire area as and when needed.
