The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ISO14001/ISO14001 and would have worked within a manufacturing environment.

Job Description
Ensure the maintenance of EHS Management Systems in line with ISO45001 and ISO14001 and any customer specific requirements
Ensure preparedness for audits through the maintenance of environmental, health & safety processes, procedures and effective walk the floor routines
Keep employees abreast of changes in EHS Legislation and Codes of Practice
Provide training for staff in relation to EHS policies, practice and procedures.
Regularly review existing procedures and risk assessments, review levels of training, and review the state of relevant equipment and workstation layouts / the working environment.
Development and Implementation of delegated walk the floor routines
A list of audit points, to be checked at defined frequencies (several times a day, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually), with a structure involving operations and functional management, production operators, EHS management and external specialist contractors.
Ensure all investigations and associated problem-solving is timely, comprehensive and fit-for-purpose with respect to follow-up of accidents, health concerns, environmental incidents, near-misses and security breaches.
Improve employee engagement through regular promotional and participative events such as “Accident-Free Months” and “EHS Awareness Talks”
Project manage all departments and stakeholders across, to ensure achievement of the required EcoVadis rating
Remain up to date with any Industry or customer specific ESG related requirements

Strong knowledge of ISO14001/ISO14001
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude
