Job Responsibilities
1. Assist in producing and implementing effective communication campaigns, utilizing digital and traditional channels to meet KPIs and engage target audiences (internal and external) in support of KMPT's strategic priorities.
2. Proactively build relationships across the Trust, with patients and partners to identify stories and case studies for content creation.
3. Create engaging content suitable for various channels, including written pieces, multimedia content such as short videos, graphics, gifs, and support colleagues in developing print and digital collateral.
4. Write and regularly update content for the Trust's website, intranet, and newsletters (internal and external).
5. Support media relations activities, including writing quotes, statements, news releases, and liaising with journalists, especially when managing sensitive issues.
6. Assist in organizing and publicizing events like staff engagement sessions, public boards, and awards ceremonies.
Additional Details
Travel across Kent and Medway may be required to share stories. You will work within a busy, friendly team, collaborating with staff and external partners such as newspapers, NHS teams, and community groups.
