We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and efficiency of our clients building projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and analyse structural elements of buildings, including foundations, floors, walls, and roofs
* Determine structural loads, weights, and stresses to ensure safe and efficient building performance
* Produce detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
* Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate design requirements
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and building regulations
* Review construction progress and provide technical support on-site as required
* Identify and resolve structural issues during design and construction
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng) or equivalent
* Chartered or working toward Chartered status (e.g., CEng, MICE, IStructE) - Desireable
* Strong knowledge of structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Robot Structural Analysis, etc.)
* Experience with building projects and structural analysis
* Knowledge of UK building regulations
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
