As a Maintenance Plumber, you’ll be involved in:
1. Plumbing Installations: Fit and maintain water, drainage, and gas systems for new builds and refurbishments, including social housing developments.
2. Healthcare Upgrades: Work on high-spec projects like the Altnagelvin Emergency Department, installing medical-grade plumbing systems under strictpliance and tight deadlines.
3. Mechanical Works: Carry out oil and gas-certified installations and maintenance, ensuring safe heating systems in residential and healthcare settings.
4. Repairs & Maintenance: Respond to emergency call-outs and perform routine plumbing repairs across a variety of properties.
5. Collaborative Working: Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, and other trades while promoting a safety-first culture through toolbox talks and mental health initiatives like “Tea & Talk.”
6. Special Projects: Support bespoke tasks such as flood/fire reinstatement and retrofitting plumbing systems in listed buildings.
What You’ll Need
7. Fully qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
8. Valid UK driving licence
9. Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and installation
10. Oil and gas certification (desirable)
11. Strong teamwork andmunication skills
