We’re looking for a Sous Chef ready to support the Head Chef, lead by example, and build a passionate, high-performing kitchen team at The Blue Stoops in Dronfield. You’ll be the engine room of our food operation — ensuring every dish meets our high standards and every guest leaves with a smile.
Everything we do is built on our values: Warm, Hungry, and People Smart. Training may take place at our neighbouring site, The Hunloke Arms in Chesterfield as part of our launch.
What You’ll Do
* Lead your station and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Ensure the highest quality food and maintain a 5-star hygiene rating.
* Help with stock control, ordering, and deliveries.
* Mentor your team and develop your leadership skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
What We’re Looking For
* 2+ years of chef experience in a similar fresh food, high-volume setting.
* Passion for creating great food and leading by example.
* Energetic, positive, and ready to thrive in a busy environment.
* Flexible with evenings and weekends.
