Factory Operatives - Derby (Castle Donington) £12.21 per hour | Monday-Friday | Temp to Perm Opportunity We are hiring for a production operative for our client based in Derby, where you'll play a vital part in supporting the smooth running of their manufacturing process. This is a physically demanding role involving manual handling, lifting, and working within a small, close-knit team. In return, you'll benefit from consistent hours, great team support, and the opportunity for a permanent position after 12 weeks. What You'll Be Doing Handling, moving, and transporting products safely across the production area. Using pallet jacks and trolleys for efficient movement of materials. Performing regular cleaning and hygiene tasks to maintain high standards. Inspecting products for quality and reporting any issues. Adapting to different stages of production as needed and cross-training where possible. Following strict health and safety procedures at all times. Working in confined spaces or under machinery when required. What We're Looking For Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, manual work and lifting items of 10kg. Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious. Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or similar manual labour roles is beneficial. Good level of English for communication and teamwork. Flexible and able to work overtime when required.
