HR Data Assistant Location: Ross on Wye Working closely with the Head of HR Operations, the HR Data Assistant will deliver high-quality data, insights, and reporting to support effective delivery and continuous improvement. You will play an important role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring people data is accurate, accessible, and translated into meaningful insights for both operational and strategic use. You will support the maintenance of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. This will include producing both regular and ad hoc reports, as well as developing and maintaining dashboards. Main Responsibilities: Manage data within the main HR system (Sage People), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. Support the HR system and assist in maintaining system structure, data quality, and supporting system improvements and optimisation. Produce, support the analysis of ad hoc HR reports and management information (MI) to key stakeholders across the business. Build, and maintain dashboards (e.g. in Excel and Power BI) to visualise people data and support data-driven decision-making. Work closely with the Head of HR Operations to support continuous improvement in reporting processes, including automation, standardisation, and enhancement of existing reports. Support data requirements across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate capture and reporting of key data points. Work closely with Payroll and HR teams to ensure data consistency and alignment across systems. Support data audits and cleansing activities to ensure high levels of data quality and integrity. Provide support across general HR administration and assist with additional HR tasks and projects as required. What We’re Looking For Proven experience working with HR data, reporting & management information (MI). Strong experience as a key user of HR systems Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.) are essential. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is highly desirable.
