What you'll be doing
1. Planning and Allocation of Works:
2. Review incoming works to ensure required information is provided (Job Packs, TM Forces, etc.).
3. Validate incoming works, assessing information for completing the works and identifying specialist materials and plant requirements.
4. Liaise with the work originator regarding queries.
5. Coordinate with other supervisors and construction teams to optimize resource sharing.
Project-specific maintenance activities:
1. Attend stakeholder meetings regularly.
2. Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to define scope of works.
3. Communicate with residents and the alliance team throughout work delivery.
4. Manage labor, plant, and material resources.
5. Oversee project programs.
Performance Management:
1. Report on productivity and support management of outputs.
2. Provide mitigations to the Performance Manager for monthly operations reporting.
3. Drive daily performance improvements.
4. Manage people, identify emerging talent, and ensure robust succession planning.
Financial and Commercial Responsibilities:
1. Support the commercial team in cost recovery.
2. Conduct hot costing to ensure profitability of cost centers.
3. Implement IT solutions for accurate data capture by operatives and subcontractors.
Client Relations:
1. Resolve queries related to work stacks, planned, and completed works.
2. Report information as required by the alliance team.
Who we're looking for
1. Experience working on a Highways Maintenance Contract.
2. Detailed knowledge of Street Lighting Maintenance.
3. NERS/HERS certification.
4. Strong business acumen.
5. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
6. Adaptability to changing situations.
7. Commercial awareness, understanding SLAs and KPIs.
8. Knowledge of works programming.
9. Proficiency with IT systems, specifically Confirm and Excel.
