Location and Hours
Base: Health Centre, HMP Perth with the ability to travel across other sites as required.
15 Sessions per week (full and part-time options available).
2 Clinical Lead Sessions per week.
Responsibilities
* Work flexibly across three prisons in Tayside: HMP Perth, HMP Castle Huntly, and HMP Bella & YOI Female Community Custody Unit.
* Join a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) delivering safe, effective, person-centred care equitable to that of the local community. MDT components include Specialist Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician Team, Primary Care Nursing Team, Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioners, ANPs, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapist, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nursing, Substance Misuse Recovery, Health Promotion, and visiting specialists (Dentists, Podiatrist, Optician, BBV Nurse, Consultant Psychiatrists).
* Engage pro-actively to enable maximum mental and physical well-being, working closely with Scottish Prison Service.
* Register with the General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice. Participation in audit and teaching of GP, Medical Staff in Training and Trainee Advanced Practitioners is expected.
* Clinical Lead sessions are available to drive service improvements.
Qualifications
* General Medical Council (GMC) registration and Licence to Practice.
* Experience in clinical leadership and/or teaching is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits
Salary Scale: £77,160 – £115,167
Sessions: 15 per week (Full and Part Time Options Available); 2 Clinical Lead Sessions per week.
