Job Duties:
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting
* Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
* Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Collaborating with teaching staff and parents to support the educational development of students with SEN
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Relevant experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
Experience:
Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents
* Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in special education or SEN support
* Training in behaviour management techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
