We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our Pelvic Health team at Ipswich Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with pelvic health conditions (men, women and children), including but not limited to incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-natal recovery. As a Band 7 Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you will work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality care and support for patients across East Suffolk. We are a friendly team who strive to offer patients the best care possible.
This is a 1-year fixed term post as we are in the process of creating a B8a ACP role in Pelvic Health. Due to the fixed term nature of this job we anticipate the role will be 80-90% clinical.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide some clinical and managerial leadership for the Pelvic Health service at Ipswich Hospital (ESNEFT).
* Develop service to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
* Provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to outpatients, including highly complex presentations.
* Apply expert clinical reasoning, treatment strategies.
* Participate in service development alongside the professional and team lead. Be aware of national and local agendas and current evidence based practice and research.
* Deputise as required to oversee the day to day running of the department.
* Provide management and supervision to the pelvic health physiotherapy team.
