Job Description

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Looking for a new challenge?

You may have found it! You'll be working within the team that processes all administration elements of the employee lifecycle from job offer through to our employee's leaving PA. We are the first line for HR queries within the business and provide support to the wider people team.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

1. Get to know the business through a large number of day-to-day queries and wider projects.
2. Create offer letters and contracts of employment, hire new employees on our HR System, and ensure all processes are followed to effectively onboard a new employee.
3. Work closely with the HR team in the UK as well as liaising with key contacts within the business.
4. There are many administration processes run by our team to support our employees through their time at PA and you will be responsible for administrating these processes from start to finish which include family leave related policies, sickness absence, sabbaticals, promotions, right to work requirements, leavers and changes to terms and conditions of employment to name a few.

This is a very varied and involved role as we are a team of 10 and complete an average of 700 processes per month. It’s a busy and friendly environment, where no one day is the same!

Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.

Qualifications

1. You’ll have experience working in an administrative role
2. Great attention to detail
3. Collaboration and good communication
4. HR experience not required, but hugely advantageous

We know the skill-gap and ‘somewhat need to tick every box’ can get in the way of meeting brilliant candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply – we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today by completing our online application

Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance.

All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.

We therefore ask that you only apply if you meet the residency requirements (i.e. you are a British citizen or have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years), as this is the prerequisite for a security clearance. If you're unsure about your eligibility, we encourage you to review the UK Government’s guidance on security vetting before applying.
