We are working with a dynamic and growing organisation seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and partnering closely with colleagues across multiple locations. Your new role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information. Responsibilities include:
1. Producing and reviewing entity management accounts, including branch P&Ls and analysis
2. Posting transactions, prepayments, accruals, and intepany journals
3. Reconciling intepany accounts
4. Assisting with external audits and responding to queries
5. Ensuring effective financial controls across operational activities
6. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
7. Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc queries
What you’ll need to succeed:
8. ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist
9. Strong experience producing management accounts and variance analysis
10. Knowledge of UK accounting standards
11. Ability to coach junior team members
12. Experience working with auditors on statutory audits
13. Excellentmunication skills and attention to detail
14. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
15. Advanced Excel skills
