Overview
Integrity and Compliance Officer at South Derbyshire District Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Benefits Team.

Responsibilities
* Perform quality assurance checks on benefit assessment awards and targeted checks related to Housing Benefit subsidy audit.
* Make consistent and transparent decisions on Discretionary Housing Payment applications.
* Resolve subsidy and integrity software errors, ensuring DWP security and compliance.
* Complete government returns and monitoring.
* Provide support and resilience to the Benefit Assessment Team when required.
Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction legislation.
* Good working knowledge of MRI Revenues and Benefits processing software.
* Strong analytical and IT skills, with the ability to manage complex information accurately.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required for interaction with customers and agencies by phone, letter, and email.

* Post advertised as 37 hours with potential to reduce hours to a minimum of 25 hours per week.
* DBS disclosure required.
