Role Overview
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and timely dispatch of products. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on, organisational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement to maintain world-class warehouse standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
* Oversee / hands-on with day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
* Maintain optimal stock levels through accurate inventory control systems.
* Implement and maintain warehouse layout and space management strategies.
2. Team Leadership
* Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
3. Process & System Efficiency
* Implement best practices for warehouse operations to improve speed, accuracy, and productivity.
* Work with CRM systems to track inventory and improve data accuracy.
* Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Safety & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
* Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
5. Coordination & Communication
* Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
* Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries if required.
* Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance, KPIs, and improvement plans.

Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
* 5+ years' experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
* Proficiency in operating forklifts and understanding safety protocols within a warehouse environment
* Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector preferred.
* Certification in warehouse management, inventory control, or safety management will be an advantage.
