Job Description
3. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary digital product team, fostering a supportive, high‑performing culture.
4. Own the strategy, roadmap and continuous improvement of several core digital products.
5. Ensure systems run smoothly day‑to‑day, with strong change control, testing and release processes.
6. Work closely with internal teams to understand needs and translate them into product plans and enhancements.
7. Oversee application support, user guidance and service management, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
8. Manage relationships with third‑party suppliers, ensuring high‑quality delivery and value for money.
9. Control product budgets (up to £1m), forecasting spend and ensuring financial accountability.
10. Provide clear communication and training to users, helping them get maximum value from digital platforms.
11. Contribute to digital governance, aligning product direction with wider organisational and technology strategy.
12. Champion a culture of learning, innovation and inclusive practice across the team and wider digital function.
The Successful Applicant
Essential Requirements
13. Proven experience leading digital product teams across configuration, testing, data, BI tooling and user support.
14. Strong understanding of enterprise applications (e.g., funding systems, CRM, ERP).
15. Ability to manage product roadmaps, delivery lifecycles and service management processes (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, DevOps).
16. Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
17. Demonstrated capability to analyse requirements, identify gaps and shape future product direction.
18. Experience managing budgets up to £1m with solid forecasting and financial planning skills.
19. Confident in guiding change, resolving complex issues and driving continuous improvement across teams.
20. Strong leadership skills with a people‑first approach to coaching, development and team culture.
21. Ability to influence, inspire and build trust across diverse business and digital functions.
