Vehicle Mechanic Bridgend, WalesSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)Full-Time | PermanentAbout the Role An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established and reputable automotive business based in Bridgend.Working within a busy and fully equipped workshop, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models. This role would suit a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical faults and challenges.Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standardsDiagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipmentComplete MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet roadworthy standardsRepair and replace components including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systemsConduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirementsMaintain accurate service records and workshop documentationWork efficiently to meet workshop deadlines and productivity targetsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulationsDeliver consistently high standards of workmanship and customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking For Proven experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, or Automotive TechnicianStrong diagnostic and fault-finding abilitiesExperience carrying out servicing, repairs, and MOT preparationConfident using diagnostic equipment and workshop toolsGood understanding of modern vehicle systems and repair proceduresAbility to work independently and manage workloads effectivelyFull UK Driving LicenceReliable, professional, and hardworking attitudePersonal Attributes Excellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsPride in delivering quality workmanshipPositive team player with good communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work under own initiativeWhat's on Offer Competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annumPermanent, full-time positionStable and growing businessModern workshop environmentSupportive team cultureLong-term career opportunity with a respected local employerIf you're an experienced Vehicle Mechanic looking for your next opportunity in Bridgend, we'd love to hear from you.
