Casual SEN Teaching Assistant - Kettering
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and committed Casual SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Kettering area.
This flexible, day-to-day role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
The role:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
* Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
We're looking for candidates who:
* Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
* Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Can adapt to different settings and pupil needs
* Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
