Job Title: KS3 Outreach SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic progress Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong organisational and time management skills Passion for supporting students with SEN Working Conditions: This role will involve working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring services to students with SEN. The work will primarily take place in educational settings (learners homes, local libraries or schools) in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and parents to support the academic development of Key Stage 3 students.
