Local Handy Heroes is expanding its in-house cleaning and housekeeping team.
We are looking for a reliable, professional full-time housekeeper to maintain, prepare, clean and stock our Airbnb, serviced accommodation, landlord and domestic properties. This includes deep cleans, guest prep, restocking, linen handling, and occasional light gardening.
This role requires your own car – we cannot consider applicants without one. You’ll be transporting hoovers, laundry and supplies between properties. Without a vehicle, the role cannot be done reliably.
Main working days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Additional weekday shifts may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
Deep cleaning and tidying of residential and short-let properties
Replenishing household items and guest supplies
Organising storage, layout and presentation
Reporting maintenance issues to the office
Changing light bulbs, batteries, and occasional light gardening
Collecting and dropping off laundry and supplies
What You Need:
Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality
Own vehicle (essential – applications without one will not be considered)
Attention to detail and high personal standards
Proactive attitude and time management skills
Flexibility for occasional travel (mileage paid)
What We Offer:
£20,000 to £25,000 salary
Full-time, permanent contract
