American Diner Kitchen Manager Department: Restaurants & QSR Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Bognor Regis Description About The Role We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Team based in Bognor Regis. We truly believe that variety is the spice of life and in this role you'll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of our team in our fantastic American Diner. Our guests are looking to load up on juicy made-to-order signature burgers, Louisiana chicken fingers served on Texas toast, sweet and smoky BBQ-glazed ribs and deliciously creamy shakes. They really relish the good times! A Butlin's resort is the home of getting stuck in and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food and we offer this to every guest, every time in our restaurant. You will be responsible for running a busy kitchen which caters for approximately 140 covers serving American style food through busy bottomless brunch, lunch and dinner services. You will lead and ensure the team comply with all food safety, health & safety and all company policies and procedures. As with any chef role at this level, you will also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety and hygiene related. You should have also passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast paced and busy kitchen environment. Typical working hours: working five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week and are part of a bonus scheme.
