We are seeking an experienced Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer to support the design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise, cloud, and data center networking capabilities within a healthcare environment.
The role will focus on network architecture, implementation, optimization, and automation, working across hybrid connectivity, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), Cisco data center technologies, SD-WAN, load balancing, and observability platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Network Engineering & Architecture
Design, implement, and support enterprise routing and switching environments.
Work with protocols and technologies including:
OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
STP, HSRP, VRRP
VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel
QoS, multicast
Cloud Networking (AWS & Azure)
Architect and implement cloud network designs using:
AWS VPC / Azure VNet
Transit Gateway
Direct Connect / ExpressRoute
Support cloud network security and connectivity patterns.
Implement and manage cloud load balancers and cloud firewall solutions.
Data Center Networking & Cisco ACI
Design and manage Cisco ACI environments including:
ACI fabric design
APIC administration
Nexus 9000 series
VXLAN/EVPN
Spine–leaf architecture
SD-WAN Delivery
Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions including:
Cisco Viptela
Cisco Meraki
Support hybrid connectivity patterns and secure WAN transformation.
Load Balancing
Configure and support NetScaler ADC, including:
GSLB
SSL offloading
Layer 7 policies
Content switching
Network Security & Segmentation
Implement security policies and segmentation strategies:
ACLs, firewall policies
Segmentation and microsegmentation
Zero Trust aligned design principles
Automation, IaC & CI/CD
Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance using:
Python
Ansible
Terraform
Git-based CI/CD pipelines
Monitoring, Observability & Network Assurance
Support and integrate monitoring tools such as:
Dynatrace
Grafana
SolarWinds
Cisco DNA Center
ThousandEyes
AppDynamics
Documentation & Design Governance
Produce and maintain:
High Level Designs (HLDs)
Low Level Designs (LLDs)
Modernization roadmaps
Cloud-integrated network design patterns
Lifecycle & Operational Delivery
Lead or support:
Hardware/firmware upgrades
Network migrations and refresh programmes
Performance tuning and optimization
Continuous improvement activities
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience across enterprise and data center networking.
Proven expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching.
Solid experience designing hybrid cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure.
Strong understanding of Cisco ACI and modern data center architecture.
Experience delivering SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela and/or Meraki).
Working knowledge of network security segmentation and Zero Trust principles.
Strong automation mindset with practical experience using Python/Ansible/Terraform.
Experience working with monitoring and observability tooling.
