Commercial Property Paralegal

An established and busy Commercial Property department is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their team.
This position would suit someone currently working as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or Legal Assistant within a Commercial Property department at a law firm.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of commercial property support practices. You will work closely with the department's fee earners, providing essential administrative and secretarial support to help deliver an exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Creating new client files and carrying out client due diligence processes
Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
Conducting searches and handling Land Registry matters
Liaising with clients and third parties by phone and email, dealing with basic enquiries
Managing diaries, attending meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
Completing administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and filing
Ensuring client matter files are accurate and up to date
Maintaining the department's key dates reminder system
Managing file closing and archiving processes
Supporting with general office administration, including answering calls, handling post, greeting clients, and other ad hoc duties
About You

Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to show initiative
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Adaptable and able to prioritise effectively
Professional in appearance and approach
Competent with ICT, particularly Microsoft Office and case management systems
