We're looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer who thrives on solving problems, improving processes, and delivering innovative solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising manufacturing processes, methods, and equipment to ensure safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The Industrial Engineer will:
* Analyse production systems to identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
* Support operational teams in deploying lean tools and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate new product designs from concept through to full-scale production, ensuring smooth integration and manufacturability.
* Manage the setup and internal flow of new product lines, assessing impacts on manpower, materials, and equipment.
* Design and optimise workshop layouts to maximise space utilisation, workflow efficiency, and safety.
* Provide hands-on technical support to resolve daily production challenges quickly and effectively.
The Industrial Engineer will have:
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven track record in problem-solving and process improvement on production lines.
* Experience leading projects and introducing engineering changes within a large organisation.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimisation techniques.
