Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a number of secondary schools in Bolton, with opportunities also available in Bury, Salford, and Wigan.
This role is ideal for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work, who are looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a secondary school setting.
The role:
* Supporting students aged 11–16 in lessons
* Working alongside class teachers to support learning and behaviour
* Providing 1:1 and small-group intervention
* Delivering pre-set cover work when required
What we’re looking for:
* A degree in any subject (essential)
* An interest in education or working with young people
* Experience with young people is desirable but not essential
* Confident, reliable, and proactive approach
What’s on offer:
* £90–£110 per day (paid weekly via PAYE)
* Full-time and part-time roles available
* Experience in a range of supportive secondary schools
* Ideal preparation for PGCE / teacher training applications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
