My client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with knowledge of Planning Act 2008 procedures to join a leading Infrastructure Consents team.
The team delivers Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) across sectors such as rail, road, energy, and commercial development. They have a strong pipeline of green energy projects, placing us at the forefront of renewable energy initiatives in the UK.
Provide professional planning advice on major projects across the UK.
Prepare and submit planning applications, negotiate with authorities and stakeholders.
Support DCO leads and collaborate with technical teams.
Draft written representations, assist with hearings and inquiries, and promote sites through Local Plans.
Represent the business at networking events and seminars.
Manage projects with autonomy over budgets and timelines.
Strong knowledge of planning law and practice; excellent report writing skills.
Experience managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
Background in consultancy or local authority is beneficial; rail, transport, or utilities experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel within the UK.
