Energy Research & Analysis Graduate Programme - September

LCP Delta, our energy team, was formed through the merger of Delta-EE and LCP Energy to bring together deep generation and consumer-side expertise, to provide our clients with a single partner to help them on their journey and provide them with a ° view across the energy spectrum. We are passionate people using data, insights and models across all aspects of energy, including electricity generation and emerging new technologies. We have a mission to accelerate the energy transition globally, supporting a range of clients from energy giants to start-ups, traders to strategists, investors to manufacturers.

Your Role: The type of work you can expect to be involved in as an analyst in the role include:

1. Conducting in-depth research. This will include a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including: 
2. online discussions with industry experts and other professionals 
3. desk-based research, identifying and analysing data from other sources 
4. Analysing information and data to produce insightful conclusions and meaningful content to our clients or subscribers in the form of reports, databases, and viewpoints
5. Communicating with clients or subscribers via presentations, email, webinars and by phone
6. Developing your project management skills and / or leading projects
7. Building relationships with industry contacts on behalf of the company, developing client relationships and contributing to the development of the business
8. Collaborating across teams within LCP Delta
9. Developing expertise in the energy transition

 Professional Development: We encourage you to develop your skills through personal development training, as well as benefiting from the opportunity to work alongside and learn from industry experts.

 What We’re Looking For:

10. Higher or A Level in STEM subject A Grade
11. Degree educated (minimum 2:1) in any subject, or currently studying for a degree and on track to achieve a 2:1 and / or relevant MSc
12. IT skills – including Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
13. An interest in the energy transition and an awareness of topical issues
14. A willingness to develop new industry contacts and clients and attend events where required
15. Commercial acumen - the ability to think commercially about the needs of our clients 
16. Problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills
17. Excellent communication and written skills
