PERFORMANCE NUTRITIONIST
Location: Trent Bridge, Nottingham, NG2 6AG
Salary: Competitive contractor rates, to be discussed at interview

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Performance Nutritionist to join our Science & Medicine Team, reporting to the Head of Science & Medicine and the Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the nutrition strategies of elite athletes within both the Senior and Academy pathways.
The Performance Nutritionist will lead the governance of nutrition across the Club, working closely with multidisciplinary staff including coaches, medical and sport science professionals, catering partners, and supplement providers. The successful candidate will develop and deliver evidence-based nutrition programmes that enhance player performance, recovery, and wellbeing both in training and competition.
We are looking for someone with the expertise and passion to translate nutrition science into practical strategies, who has experience working in elite sport, and who can build strong relationships with athletes, coaches, and wider support staff.
The successful applicant will have:
* A degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition, Sports Science, Dietetics, or a related subject
* A higher degree in Sports Nutrition (IOC Diploma, PG Cert/Dip, or MSc)
* Registration as a Graduate on the Sports and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr)
* UKAD Clean Sport Advisor Accreditation
* At least 3 years' post-graduate experience in applied sports nutrition
* Experience of working with chefs and catering teams to optimise food provision
* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence athletes and staff
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and anti-doping best practice
An understanding of cricket as a sport, experience in elite team environments, and stakeholder management (including supplement partners) would be advantageous.
