An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in a reputable nursing home located in Abertillery, Wales. This role is with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
The facility specializes in caring for individuals with complex needs and benefits from access to a dedicated clinical specialist and senior team, supporting the development of a successful supported-living scheme.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin and have experience in mental health care.
Key Duties:
1. Ensure the highest standards of care by assessing residents' needs and developing services to improve their quality of life.
2. Promote independence and personal choice; regularly review and update care plans to address residents' physical, social, and psychological needs.
3. Manage all aspects of medication administration during your shift, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
4. Build and maintain a positive reputation by liaising professionally with visitors and external stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, proactively identifying and resolving risks.
6. Support and mentor team members in line with the NMC Code, adhering to its guidance at all times.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary of GBP 21.63 per hour, with an annual salary up to GBP 49,489.44. Both day and night shifts are available on a permanent basis.
