Role Overview
In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils with MLD
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to promote continuous development
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven experience teaching pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) or a range of additional needs
A sound understanding of strategies to support pupils with communication, literacy, and numeracy difficulties
A patient, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
A commitment to inclusive education and promoting pupil independence
