We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join the repairs and maintenance team for a local council in Kensington and Chelsea.
Responsibilities:
* Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
* Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
* Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
* Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
* Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
* Accurately documenting completed work, materials used, and time spent on tasks using the PDA system.
Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
* Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
* Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (2357)
