This post is fixed term/secondment for 2 years to meet the needs of the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cardiff and Vale University R&D for a Research Nurse to become part of a growing and dynamic research delivery team.
The role will be supporting exciting and innovative research within the department and will be based at the University Hospital of Wales, employed to support the growing endocrine/diabetes portfolio of studies.
* Support research within the department.
* Work as part of an NHS research delivery team consisting of Research Nurses, Clinical Studies Officers, Research Officers, and Administrators.
* Assist in the delivery of high quality health and social care studies.
* Contribute to the endocrine/diabetes portfolio of research studies.
* Band 6 Registered Nurse.
* Research and/or clinical experience with an interest in surgical nursing.
* Enthusiasm and desire to develop in a research environment.
* Welsh and/or English speaking; Welsh speaking ability is desirable.
