Pastoral Officer – WARRINGTON
6 – 8 weeks
(Cover an absense)
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Pastoral Officer in a popular Secondary School in Warrington. This position is to start ASAP (22nd April 2024) and will be ongoing for a period of 6 to 8 weeks as it is to cover an absence.
As the Pastoral officer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the welfare and happiness of our students. You will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and external agencies to provide guidance, support, and pastoral care services. You will need to build positive relationships with students and provide them with a safe and supportive environment. To help the progress of the students you will need o develop and implement pastoral care programs and initiatives to promote progress. You will have to work with teachers and other leaders in the school to make sure you collect data to track the success of the students.

Minimum rate of pay – from £100 per day.
Hours – 8:30am – 4pm
Experience, Training and qualifications:
1. Secondary School experience or evidence of working with children
2. GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’ or ‘4’ & above
3. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
4. Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
5. Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)
To be eligible you must have/be :
6. Hold Right to Work in the UK
7. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
8. Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years.
